Theater on main is hosting Two Adult Classes in Acting / Voice and Playwriting
Taught by UW–M, Peck School of the Arts Instructors
Michelle Lopez-Rios – Acting/Voice and Alvaro Saar Rios - Playwriting
Earn license – renewal credits close to home AND have fun
Or just take the workshop of your choice for a theatrical immersion
Both workshops are scheduled for:
Monday – Friday, August 4th – August 8th, 9:00 am – 3:30 pm
at Theater on main, 25 S. Main Street, Oconomowoc, Wisconsin
Cost: $250.00 for the workshop, $150.00 to Cardinal Stritch for each credit
Credit: 1 to 3 credits (per Sally Ride Institute model)
Playwriting with Alvaro Saar Rios
· Learn the basics of writing a scene and a play
· Practice creating dialogue, monologue
· Create a storyboard with conflict, etc.
· Write, discuss, read aloud, write, discuss, read aloud, CREATE …
Acting – with an emphasis on voice, dialect, etc. with Michelle Lopez-Rios
· Acting basics with vocal emphasis
· Improvise, memorize, and perform
