The Big Bad Wolf Meets Santa Claus - December 2008A family-friendly Christmas play, written by local playwrights Amy Schwaab and Nancy Bicha-Dale. Santa falls out of his sleigh into Fairytale Land, where he is discovered by Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. No one knows who he is, not even Santa himself. As he strives to regain his memory, Santa coerces the dwarves to make toys and the woodland creatures to decorate Fairytale Land for a celebration. Evil is afoot, though, and Santa does not know that his powers can either save the day or doom the kingdom. The Big Bad Wolf and three feral princesses run freely in the land, rewriting their stories, ignoring the wishes of the princes and the Queen. Are the princes heroes, fops, or foils? Who will control Fairytale Land? Will Santa return to Christmas? How will the story end? |
